Aeschylus next
Folks,
Pat and I are choosing the edition of Aeschylus that we’ll be reading next and will get that to you shortly.
Meanwhile, I’m sending a clip from yesterday’s NY Times about an archaeological discovery that may confirm the burial of Patroclus that Homer describes in “The Illiad”.
Anyone want to go to Athens to to the Museum of Cycladic Art to check it out? 😉
Phil
P.S. After plays by Aeschylus and several other Greek playwrights this fall, we’ll tackle Thucydides sometime in the new year.
