James Romm Makes Times 100 Notable Books
I’m pleased to report that the New York Times this month selected Dying Every Day, by Reading Odyssey Board Member James Romm, as one of 2014’s 100 Notable Books. The Bard College classics professor dives into the painful moral ambiguity embodied in Seneca, Stoic philosopher and tutor to the Roman Emperor Nero. It’s a fascinating story that defies simplistic judgment. You can read the Times review of the book here.
