I'm Heather, mother of 13 year old Jordan who went to Ancient Greek camp this past summer and translated Herodotus. Coincidentally, I learned of Reading Odyssey from Phil Terry of Creative Good. Although my minor was Ancient Greek and Roman History I haven't spent much time there since college many years ago. Jordan and I are enjoying Homer together and discuss our reading each morning on our ride to school. I moderate groups like this for Reading Odyssey, especially the Greek and Roman classics which I love. I also lead adult discussion groups that focus on topics from the New Testament. After studying copious amounts of European literature, I have found my preferred area of reading in the ancients.</font></div>
