Greetings all!<br>I'm Rachel: I have no background whatsoever in Classics, Latin, or Greek and Roman history. I'm a 23-year-old recent college graduate who lives in New York City. My background is mostly in American intellectual/cultural studies and take a great interest in the history of ideas. I am curious about continued education outside of degree-granting institutions, so I'm very much looking forward to participating in Reading Odyssey. <br>

Hi - also looking forward to the discussion. I'm Heather, mother of 13 year old Jordan who went to Ancient Greek camp this past summer and translated Herodotus. Coincidentally, I learned of Reading Odyssey from Phil Terry of Creative Good. Although my minor was Ancient Greek and Roman History I haven't spent much time there since college many years ago. Jordan and I are enjoying Homer together and discuss our reading each morning on our ride to school. I am a director of marketing and PR at Bill Me Later, an eBay company based in Maryland. <br>

I moderate groups like this for Reading Odyssey, especially the Greek and Roman classics which I love. I also lead adult discussion groups that focus on topics from the New Testament. After studying copious amounts of European literature, I have found my preferred area of reading in the ancients.</font></div>
