[Iliad2] First Iliad Call

Thanks to everyone for participating and sharing such great thoughts Monday. As usual from these sessions, I came away with important insights that will change the way I understand the work and its relevance to us. Among other things, I think I've got a richer understanding of the possible meaning of the battle scenes. 

I hope everyone else enjoyed the call, and of course your preparation and participation make moderating easy. 

I neglected to discuss call length, but as with the last group I was on (Arrian) I let the discussion cruise along until about the 90 minute mark. Does that work for everyone?
