[Xenophon2010_readingodyssey.org] Xenophon's Hellenika Reading Group - First Call

Greetings, readers.

I'm Jenn Skibo and by trade I am an online strategist and
customer-experience advocate. I'm also the proud mommy of two
vividly-animated young children and a life-long learner.

I'm still kind of new to the Reading Odyssey and was christened with
Aristotle. (No lie, that was "rigorous" reading, but I'm back for more!) I
decided to join the journey after reading Seeking Wisdom and Team of Rivals
with Phil and company. Personally, I enjoy the calls because it is
comforting to listen to all the bright minds and to better understand the
variations of the experience that readers have as they engage in selected
text. Having direct access to authors and scholars as we do through this
project is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to kick off this next
adventure. (Warm thoughts of the ancient world in spite of the sub-zero
conditions much of the US is enduring is also a pleasant notion...)

"See" you next week,

Jenn
