[Xenophon] Joining the group

Thank you for allowing me to join the Xenophon group.  I will be sure  
to listen to the MP3 of the first session.

A little about myself:
I retired last year from over 22 years of working in the labor  
movement in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I have a long-time interest  
in ancient history and mythology, and have begun a Quixotic quest to  
write a novel about the Trojan War.  This past fall, my wife and I  
took our lifetime dream trip to Greece and Turkey: we saw the ruins of  
Troy, Ephesus, Didyma, Miletos, Prienne, Nafplio, Pylos (Nestor's  
Palace), Mycenae, Tiryns, Epidaurus, Delphi, and Athens/The Parthenon,  
including the new Parthenon museum.  I'm about a third of the way  
through the Landmark Herodotus.  I've read some Thucidydes.  I have  
not read Xenophon before, but I recently read Robin Waterfield's  
Xenophon's Retreat.

Looking forward to the Feb. 22 call.
